We have a 7 yr old Havanese named Jewel. She has been a finicky eater since she was little. Jewel would eat something one night and then wouldn’t eat it the next night. I wanted her to have healthy food and there wasn’t that much in the big box stores. I’m so glad we found Max’s Pet Market …. The owner and staff is very knowledgeable about all the healthy foods they carry. They helped us find food that Jewel loves – no more trouble at dinner time. Max’s has wonderful groomers too. I love having one shop for all Jewel’s needs and Jewel loves seeing all her furry friends when she goes shopping with us. If you haven’t stopped in yet you need to go and see how wonderful and friendly they are. Tell them Jewel sent you. Lol

I’ve never had a dog that needed professional grooming so this was my first experience with not only a dog groomer but a first groom for a puppy.  The appointment-making procedure was easy-peasy and I booked through Yelp.  Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and Tara did a fantastic job on my spirited doodle.

The market carries a great assortment of food and treats too!

Max’s is the best place for your furry (& non-furry) friends! I have brought my cat, Bandito, and my pup, Bert, to Max’s and always receive top notch service. Max’s grooming truly is outstanding and I know Bert is always in good hands! I can not recommend this place or its employees enough!

New to Florida, we were looking for a Groomer like the one we loved and had to leave behind in Virginia. We found what we were looking for in Max’s. The no cage approach allows our dogs, Bronx and Braylee, to feel at home and curbs their anxiety. Whenever we go to Max’s, we are all welcomed like family and my dogs look amazing after being pampered. I highly recommend this place!

We had an AMAZING experience today at Max’s Pet Store. Deanna gave my guy a great haircut and he smells so clean! A++

Max’s is the absolute best one stop shop for all your dog needs in the Wesley Chapel area! The quality of products is second to none ranging from food to treats to bowls and cleaners. Paul the owner took well over a half hour to make sure our dog was fit with the perfect harness and educate us on the right food to fit both our dogs much different needs. I could go on and on but I would recommend stopping in and talking to anyone of the incredible staff members or Paul the owner. Where do I begin? I first found Max’s on July 4th. I had just ran out of food. My Keanu eats a special frozen raw food that most commercial pet stores don’t carry. I had drove up to my old pet store and they were closed. Even though online it said they were still open. I saw someone stocking the shelves and tried to get their attention and they completely ignored me. After a while of calling different pet stores I came across Max’s on google maps. I gave them a call to see if they were open and thank God they were! I drove up and came inside, it was so clean and bright! Very very nice looking. I met the owner and he was so helpful and just genuinely interested in Keanu and showed me all around his store. He even told me that I can take off Keanu’s leash and let him play with Max and Missy! Ever since then we have been loyal to Max’s and would never dream of finding a different store. They have such a wonderful staff! I take Keanu my Mini Goldendoodle in for grooming and they always do a fantastic job! Every time we pull up to the store Keanu is always so excited because he knows he will be able to run around and play with all the shop dogs.

We absolutely love Max’s! Hands down the best groomers we’ve experienced, and we so enjoy the market as well. It’s such a fun, clean and happy atmosphere, that we sometimes just stop in to try a new treat. See you soon!!

Max’s is a fun friendly place to go too. I get all my dog foods and treats there. One co worker actually helped me pick out the right food for my baby. I forever love this place.

I go there to get my cat’s nails trimmed and to get her food, the staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Max’s for all of your furry friends

So glad I found this place! I have taken my little guy to a few groomers before and this is by far the best place I’ve found. Great haircut, amazing customer service and pets are not leashed. Pricier than most places, but it’s worth the money you spend. They even text you pictures to provide updates.

First time with Max’s, after their long-awaited opening.  It was worth the wait! So impressed with the care they took with my 14-year old Standard Poodle.  He was groomed perfectly, ears and all!  Thankful I found a groomer to care for my old boy.  Thank you…we’ll be back.
